An American comedian and actress demanded her parents apologise for their harsh words on Julia Roberts and Travis Kelce as they watched Taylor Swift perform.
Nikki Glaser, 40, hit out at her own parents following their remarks. Julia joined pop star Taylor’s American football player boyfriend Travis as they watched her show in Dublin, Ireland on Sunday. Nikki’s mum Julie and dad Edward cheekily reacted to footage of the Pretty Woman actress who appeared to intimately scratching the athlete’s chest in an affectionate way while at the Eras Tour.
Travis looked as if he was embracing the moment and laughed along. Some fans branded the clip an “uncomfortable” situation, including Nikki’s parents. Julie said: “She’s so gross,” before adding that it was ” weird ” the actress was “itching” Travis’ chest. Edward agreed, as he said the Kansas City Chiefs star was “trying to get away” from the Hollywood star.
Julie continued: “She’s trying to French kiss him right now! Just kidding. She would.” She later issued an apology on daughter Nikki’s account where she admitted she “should’ve said something different than the word gross”. Julie added: “It’s not a nice word. … So, I’m issuing an apology right now for using the word — but I think it was really weird.”
She explained she “meant to say just weird, not [gross] and weird,” yet husband Edward added it was “too late” to take back her comments. Nikki and her parents were at the Dublin show together. Taylor’s boyfriend Travis rushed to support the star once again as she took to the stage on her mega 21-month long tour.
He dashed to Dublin from his teammate’s Californian wedding to make sure he was in the audience for the latest show. Making it with time to spare, Taylor was spotted overjoyed at her man’s appearance as she grinned after noticing him in the VIP tent. Notting Hill legend Julia joined the throng of celebs in the Irish capital to catch the show.
