The new extension has made him the highest-paid NFL head coach and he is on course to break Bill Belichick and Don Shula’s outstanding records.
Reid currently averages 12.5 wins per season with Patrick Mahomes under center and will smash the all-time regular-season wins record if he maintains this average through to 2029.
In addition, Reid can see Bill Belichick’s all-time playoff victories record insight at 31.
The Chiefs head coach resides on 26 and has failed to exit the postseason earlier than the AFC Championship with Mahomes starting
