Brittany Mahomes dazzles in a rhinestone cropped top alongside glamourous Dua Lipa as they leads stars at Time 100 Gala in NYC… after Taylor Swift’s new BFF is labeled ‘fake and disloyal’
Brittany Mahomes wowed in an eye-catching ensemble alongside glammed up Dua Lipa as the pair led stars at the Time 100 Gala in New York City on Thursday.
The media personality, 28 – who was recently unmasked as ‘fake and disloyal’ to new BFF Taylor Swift – not only joined the Dance The Night hitmaker, 28, on the red carpet, but also her husband Patrick Mahomes and Uma Thurman.
The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback is notably one of the honorees at the annual event – which was hosted by Taraji P. Henson.
Brittany turned heads wearing a cropped, halter-styled top that was made of sparkling, rhinestone details.
She additionally wore a high-waisted, black skirt that fell down towards the ground and concealed the shoes she paired with the outfit.
Her blonde locks were swept up into a chic up do, allowing wavy strands to border the sides of her face.
The beauty accessorized her look for the big night by adding glittering, silver bracelets on each of her wrists as well as a pair of dangly earrings.
Brittany’s makeup was glammed up, and comprised of voluminous lashes as well as a shimmering shadow around her eyes.
A light pink blush was added to her cheekbones for a radiant glow, while a glossy nude-colored tint was worn on her lips for a finishing touch.
Her husband, Patrick – whom she tied the knot with in 2022 – was dressed to impress in a classic black suit as well as a black dress shirt that was partially unfastened around the collar.
The professional football player slipped into a pair of sleek, black shoes and he also added a watch onto his left wrist.
The lovebirds struck a variety of poses together on the red carpet shortly before the ceremony commenced. Patrick – who won the Super Bowl earlier this year in February – notably landed on the 2024 Time100 List.
Late last year, Brittany and husband Patrick notably starred in Kim Kardashian’s holiday SKIMS campaign with their children – despite Swift’s years-long feud with the TV personality.
Insiders stated that the Bad Blood songstress had found it ‘super strange’ that Brittany took part in the campaign.
‘It truly showed how loyal she is to her friends. And Brittany chose money over friendship, which says a lot.’
The source added that the media personality is only ‘acting like Taylor’s BFF’ and ‘is desperate to be known’ rather than just ‘a trophy wife to an NFL star.’
‘She has tried so hard to insert herself into Swift’s circle. She has wanted to be relevant for so long and finally found her in.’
The insider added, ‘She has too many red flags and people are starting to see through her fake and b****y persona. She is an opportunist who is clearly not a girl’s girl.’
Dua Lipa was also spotted at the ceremony on Wednesday, and was stunning in a figure-hugging, off-white gown that had a plunging, V-neck cut on the front.
The singer – who is one of the performers at the event – also landed a spot on the 2024 Time100 List.
A small cutout could be seen around her midriff, as well as a black bow embellishment that had glittering details.
Her hair was parted in the middle, and cascaded down past her shoulders in light waves. The star added a sparkling, rhinestone necklace as well as silver rings and dangly earrings to accessorize the ensemble for the special evening.
Dua’s makeup was classically done, and comprised of a layer of mascara to her lashes as well as a light shadow around her eyes.
A warm blush and contour was added to better accentuate her cheekbones, while a darker, satin tint was worn on her lips.
Earlier this month, Time Magazine released their annual list of the hundred most influential people in the world. Patrick Mahomes, Dua Lipa, Taraji P. Henson and Elliot Page led the names on the list.
Each of those on the list have a tribute written to them as Dua’s was written by American singer and songwriter Patti Smith and Taraji’s was written by Mary J. Blige.
While the event took place on Wednesday, a primetime television special will air at a later date on May 12 on ABC and the full list can be seen on Time’s website.
