Taylor Swift makes a secret dash to London to watch her close friend Cara Delevingne perform in cabaret ahead of the UK Eras tour date
Taylor Swift made a secret visit to watch her good friend Cara Delevingne perform in her West End show Cabaret, new pictures shared by the model reveal.
The singer, 34, sent fans into overdrive as she seemingly landed at Edinburgh airport today, ahead of the first concert on the UK leg of her Eras tour.
However, it seems Taylor was actually already in the UK, spending time in London where she watched Cara perform as Sally Bowles in the iconic show.
In a montage of snaps on her social media, Cara shared a photo of herself and Taylor wrapping their arms around each other as they posed in her dressing room.
Taylor showed up to support Taylor near the end of a months-long run in Cabaret, which came to a conclusion on Saturday night.
The pop sensation watched Cara’s performance of Sally, made famous by Liza Minnelli in 1972, on Friday evening at the Kit Kat Club at the Playhouse Theatre.
Taylor’s fanbase – known as Swifties – begans speculating that she had made a trip to London to watch Cara’s show, which was later confirmed by the Kit Kat Club’s head of marketing.
Arthur Jones, confirmed the rumors in a post on X: ‘Taylor Swift?? Was supporting Cara Delevingne?? At Cabaret?? TONIGHT??!!’ one fan asked, to which Jones replied: ‘Can confirm. A special night.’
Cara has now shared a sweet snap from their evening together, as Taylor hung out in her dressing room either before or after the show.
Fans went wild for their reunion and took to the comments section to share their excitement, writing: ‘Ahh TayTay’; ‘You and Taylor mothers’; ‘Legend’; ‘You and Taylor’; ‘Cara and Taylor’; WOWWW CARA TAYLOR BACK’; ‘You and Taylor, such an underrated friendship’.
The two stars have been friends for years and are regularly seen hanging out together, most recently at a Kansas City Chiefs game in Buffalo, New York, where Taylor was supporting her boyfriend Travis Kelce.
Cara previously shared her support for Taylor and Travis, speaking at the Las Vegas Grand Prix last year, saying: ‘I’m so so happy for her. There’s definitely something very different about them. I’m always rooting for my girl.’
